Rec: Starcrossed (short film)
I just stumbled across something truly wonderful.

"Darren and Connor are two star-crossed lovers bound together by blood. Set in a suburban neighborhood; Starcrossed is an atmospheric story of two brothers whose relationship develops into something more than society could ever handle."

This little film was so sweet, tragic and powerful. There is an actual story, and the film doesn't get too caught up in the shock value of the plot. If incest doesn't squick you, do yourself a favor and watch this film. They should make it into a feature length film, it's that good!

	Hi, I was browsing journals when I came across this post. I wanted to ask if this film ends tragically or with character death, because too much gay lit/film ends that way. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	It does end with character death, but I think the death scene is a really poignant part of the film. Even though I enjoy tragic endings, I have to agree with you that too many gay films end that way. It would be nice to see a happy ending for a change. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I watched it. It certainly wasn't what I was expecting it to be. They handled the incest issue pretty well and the minimal dialogue helped make the scenes more realistic. Again, thanks for uploading this. I'm glad I got the chance to see this. (Reply to this) (Thread)
